Team away-days are an opportunity to press the pause button and together think through such issues as – 

  • Strategic planning and team development. I’ve facilitated many awaydays for SMTs and board members of schools and charities to help them move forward together as an organisation. This involves clarifying their vision and mission, pinpointing key growth areas, based on shared values and principles, and agreeing actions for change.
  • Constructive change and transition. I’ve worked with several teams to discover new ways of unleashing potential both at an individual and a group level. This involves much self-reflection, feedback and promoting a genuine openness to learn and adapt, as well as identifying the key behaviours and processes that help them grow as an organisation and what/how they need to change and adapt.
